Comparison by activity and programProgram ImprovementsIn 2003, the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) is requesting $400 million for an Election Reform Program, a new three-year programmodeled on recommendations of the National Commission on Federal Electoral Reform (the Ford/Carter Commission). This new programprovides States with funding for technical and procedural improvements in state and local voting systems.
