1. Crime Victims Support and Resolution Program
UPSC requests an increase of 4 positions (1 attorney), 2 FTE, and $451,000 to implement a Crime Victims Support and Resolution program to support the Administration's priority in addressing violent crime and providing justice to victims. Through this program, USPC proposes to implement a coordination mechanism comprised of attorneys, examiners and analysts with specialized skills in dealing with complex issues associated with release/parole decisions. The requested increase also supports a database system to provide timely and accurate information on parolees/releasees. There are no FY 2007 current services resources for this initiative.
