The Los Angeles High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area consists of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.

Inland Empire counties are Riverside and San Bernardino.

Major cities in the area with populations of over 1,000,000 are Los Angeles and San Diego.

Inland Empire cities are Banning, Barstow, Chino, Colton, Corona, Fontana, Grand Terrace, Hesperia, Moreno Valley, Needles, Norco, Ontario, Perris, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, Riverside, San Bernardino, Twentynine Palms, Victorville, and Yucca Valley.

The interstate highways within this region are I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, I-210, and I-215.

The U.S. highway is route 101.

The state highways are routes 86 and 111.

The Ports of Entry are San Ysidro, Otay Mesa, Tecate, Calexico West, Calexico East, and Andrade.

The Mexican highways are routes 1, 2, and 5.

In Los Angeles County, 256,231 cannabis plants were eradicated. In Orange County, no cannabis plants were eradicated. In San Bernardino County, 100,739 cannabis plants were eradicated. In Riverside County, 181,523 cannabis plants were eradicated.

147,284 plants were eradicated from the Angeles National Forest in Los Angeles County from sites ranging in size from 130-999 plants to 10,000 or more plants. To the west of Los Angeles County, 94,621 plants were eradicated from the Los Padres National Forest. 194,877 plants were eradicated from the San Bernardino National Forest in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties from sites ranging in size from 1-129 plants to 10,000 or more plants. To the south of Riverside County, 66,585 plants were eradicated from the Cleveland National Forest.
