ATTORNEY GENERAL RENO TO TRAVEL TO NORTH CAROLINA
TO DISCUSS COMMUNITY DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND SAFE START PROGRAMS
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General Janet Reno will travel to North Carolina on Thursday, November 16, 2000 to participate in several events. At 10:15 a.m., the Attorney General will participate in a roundtable discussion on Community Dispute Resolution and conflict resolution with parents and teachers at Silk Hope Elementary.
At 12:30 p.m., the Attorney General will meet with participants in a Safe Start program at the Chatham County Courthouse in Pittsboro. At 2:45 p.m., the Attorney General will visit North Carolina Central University in Durham to meet with professors and student teachers involved in a conflict resolution curriculum.
