June 5, 2012 Dear Mr. Read, Last year, four of our 5 bookstores closed. Three were small local businesses and one a big chain store (Borders). Now we are left with the last one & only bookstore in a city of 25,000 people. Is something wrong with this picture? No matter what you want to buy, Amazon undersells so many smaller businesses. We like to give our locals our business, but they are quickly disappearing. Amazon has an unfair advantage & the DOJ should drop this lawsuit against the major publishers. Thank you. Sandra Mandel
