Pursuant to Section IV.A of the Final Judgment in this matter, which was entered by this Court on February 23, 2004, plaintiff United States of America ("United States") submits this notice to the Court that it has extended the period for defendants to divest the Spacelabs business (as defined in Section II.E of the Final Judgment). The United States has notified General Electric Company ("GE") that the proposed Acquirer of the Spacelabs business is acceptable to the United States. Defendant GE has requested an extension of time to allow it to complete the divestiture and to comply with foreign filing requirements and undertakings. The United States has agreed to an extension through March 5, 2004, in order for GE to complete the divestiture.
