Subject: re: competiveness in real estate

October 22, 2005

Dear FTC & DOJ,

I have been a full time realtor in Santa Clara County, CA for 30 years. The idea floating that real estate isn't competitive is a little ironic to me. Commission rates in my area the last few years have dropped the most I've seen in the last 30 years! We've had so many small businesses pop up where there maybe 1 to 4 people working in an office, or out of their home, because of the loss of jobs in our area. This has made the real estate business even more competitive than it's ever been and also much harder to make a living at it.

Sincerely,

Alexis Krostue
