United States v. Judith and Thomas Crofut, dba Good Flow Honey and Juice Co.,1:07-cv-00996-SS (WD TX)

Update 12/10/07:

A Complaint was filed by the United States against Thomas and Judith Crofut, d/b/a the Good Flow Honey and Juice Company, in the Western District of Texas.

Update 05/06/08:

The Court entered a Consent Decree which mandated that the Crofuts cease “receiving, processing, preparing, packing, holding, or distributing juice, at or from Defendants’ juice processing plant located at 2601 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas” until certain requirements were met by the Crofuts and approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration.

Update 07/10/08:

The United States filed a Petition for Contempt with the Court requesting that the Crofuts cease operations. The Crofuts filed a Response to the government’s petition. The United States filed a Reply to the defendants’ Response.

Update 09/19/08:

The Court held a hearing to show cause why the Crofuts should not be held in contempt. At the conclusion of the hearing, the Court entered an Order that found the Crofuts in contempt. The Crofuts were also assessed a fine and attorney fees totaling $12,500.

Update 03/26/09:

No change in status.
