
The DOJ is an active participant in the Civilian Response Corps (CRC), which is funded by the DOS Office of the Coordinator for Reconstruction and Stabilization (S/CRS). DOJ Active CRC members are presently drawn from the ATF, DEA, ICITAP, OPDAT, and USMS. DOJ Standby CRC members come from various Department agencies and United States Attorneys’ offices. The Criminal Division acts as the Department’s executive agent to coordinate the activities of the DOJ’s CRC with S/CRS. Working with S/CRS and other members of the interagency structure, DOJ CRC members presently are being utilized in overseas locations where their expertise supports the improvement of security and justice in these host nations.
