Interstate Oxycodone Distribution Arrests

MAY 21 -- Steven W. Derr, Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration for New England and Tristram J. Coffin, United States Attorney for the District of Vermont; and Michael Schirling, Chief of the Burlington Police Department announced today that in partnership with numerous state and federal law enforcement agencies, 15 individuals were arrested and a partially unsealed indictment has been filed in connection with an interstate oxycodone distribution ring.

Larry Bushey, Jr., 29 of Burlington, VT; Luis Colon, 31 of Cliffside Park, NJ; Eli Roberts, 29 of Sudbury, VT; Garrett Hartwell, 32 of Shelburne, VT; Bradley Bessette, 39 of Milton, VT;  Jason Manning, 27 of Richmond, VT; William Elwood, 35 of St. Albans, VT;  Abbe Santiago, 27 of Chicopee, MA; Nadia Saliba, 33 of Hawthorne, NJ; Travis Hartwell, 32 of Shelburne, VT and Bruce Hill, 32 of Milton, VT have been charged with conspiracy to distribute Oxycodone.  Robert Emery, 24 of Milton, VT and Michelle Nadeau, 26 of Essex Junction, VT have been charged with using a phone in connection with a drug trafficking crime.  Charles Cahill, 29 of Burlington, VT and Jarrett Erwin, 30 of Enosburg Falls, VT are charged with knowingly and intentionally possessing Oxycodone with intent to distribute.
