Owensboro Crack Cocaine Dealer Sentenced To Six Years and Five Months
MAY 16 -- (Owensboro, KY) - Justin Nichols of Owensboro Kentucky, was sentenced to over six years in prison for drug trafficking, the DEA announced today.
Nichols plead guilty on January 31, 2008, and admitted that he knowingly and intentionally possessed with intent to distribute and distributed 6.8 grams of crack cocaine, worth at least $600 on the street. During the plea hearing, it was revealed that on January 25, 2007, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Nichols sold 6.8 grams of crack cocaine to a DEA Confidential Informant. This drug transaction was both audio and video recorded by the DEA Special Agents and the Owensboro Police Department.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel P. Kinnicutt, and it was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Owensboro Police Department.
