The United States Honor Flag will be arriving at El Paso International Airport to participate in the El Paso Rhinos “Military and Service Appreciation Night”. The United States Honor Flag will be flown in on American Airlines (AMR) from Dallas as the United States Department of Homeland Security, El Paso Sector, will be the host agency honoring our Heroes in uniform during Friday and Saturday night’s scheduled games. The flag was most recently in Wichita to honor Captain Urban A. Eck with the Wichita Fire Department, in Baton Rouge to honor Louisiana State Trooper Duane Dalton, and in Philadelphia to honor Pennsylvania State Trooper Paul G. Richey, all who died in the line of duty. This will be the flag’s third appearance during a Military and Service Appreciation Night held by hockey teams in 2010 to honor our Heroes and we are elated to know the sports communities are eager to show their support to those in service to our communities and country. Last October, the flag flew over The National Fallen Firefighter Foundation Memorial in Emmitsburg, Maryland to honor our Heroes in Firefighting that had lost their lives in service to their communities and is scheduled to fly this May during Police Week in Washington, D.C. to honor our fallen Law Enforcement Officers. The United States Honor Flag has toured to honor America’s finest, from Texas to Ground Zero, to the battlefields of Iraq and across our great nation having paid tribute to over a thousand fallen American Heroes.
