CANCUN - Administrator Michele M. Leonhart is leading a delegation of DEA personnel attending the 28 th International Drug Enforcement Conference in Cancun, Mexico, April 4-7. IDEC, which was first held in 1983 with nations of the Americas and Caribbean in attendance, has today become a global forum that provides an opportunity for senior drug law enforcement officials to meet, deliberate, and determine the most effective strategies to attack and defeat criminal drug trafficking organizations.
