Cahokia Man Sentenced To Sixty-Six Months In Federal Prison For Possession With Intent To Distribute Crack Cocaine
MAY 3 -- (EAST ST. LOUIS, IL) - A. Courtney Cox, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced that BRIAN WILLIAMS, age 33, of Cahokia, Illinois, was sentenced in United States District Court in East St. Louis, Illinois, as a result of his conviction for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine. WILLIAMS was sentenced to 66 months imprisonment, a $500 fine, and 4 years of supervised release.
WILLIAMS had previously pleaded guilty to a federal indictment charging him with one count of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel T. Kapsak.
