Cahokia Man Sentenced on Crack Cocaine Offense
JUL 27 -- (Cahokia, IL) - A. Courtney Cox, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced that Robert D. WILLIAMS, age 26, of Cahokia, Illinois, was sentenced in United States District Court in East St. Louis. WILLIAMS, who had pled guilty to possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine on October 15, 2009, was sentenced to 60 months imprisonment, followed by 4 years of supervised release. The Court also ordered WILLIAMS to pay a $500 fine and a $100 special assessment.
The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Ranley R. Killian and Daniel Kapsack.
