Madison Man Sentenced for Crack Cocaine Offense
(EAST ST. LOUIS, IL) - Stephen R. Wigginton, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced that on September 24, 2010, MARVIN HAROLD, age 28, of Madison, Illinois, was sentenced in United States District Court, East St. Louis, Illinois, to 30 months’ imprisonment, a $200 fine, and a term of 3 years’ supervised release.
HAROLD previously pled guilty on June 3, 2010, to an Indictment charging him with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. The violation took place on August 11, 2009, in Madison County, Illinois.
The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Madison, Illinois Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Donald S. Boyce.
