Release U.S. Attorney's Office, DEA, Harford County Sheriff's Office and Anne Arundel County Police to Hold Press Conference About Efforts to Prevent the Spread of Methamphetamine NOV 28 -- BALTIMORE, Maryland - United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein, Drug Enforcement Administration Assistant Special Agent in Charge Carl Kotowski, and other officials will hold a press conference on Thursday, November 30, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., at the United States Attorney’s Office, 36 S. Charles Street, 4th Floor, Baltimore, to discuss the dangers related to the production and use of the highly addictive drug methamphetamine. "The drug known as 'meth' or 'crank' is really a poisonous combination of dangerous chemicals," said United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein. "Criminals who produce it pollute the environment, and people who use it destroy their bodies. Although more common in the western United States, law enforcement officials report an increase in the number of cases in Maryland.
