Detroit Area Red Ribbon Events 2009

On October 6th, 2009, Detroit PIO Rich Isaacson conducted a Red Ribbon Week and Drug Education Presentation at Detroit's Cooley High School, for the Detroit area chapter of "Teen Hype." "Teen Hype" is a teen-age performance group, that promotes making positive life choices.

On October 23rd, 2009,  G/S Andy Eiseman and S/A Rich Isaacson conducted two Red Ribbon Week presentations at Van Hoosen Middle School in Rochester Hills, MI.  Eiseman and Teacher Jeff Howell are pictured here with Howell's 6th Grade Language Arts class.

The Detroit Field Division Group 2 in conjunction with the Michigan HIDTA have conducted training to the 5th Grade students of the L'Anse Creuse Public Schools in Macomb County, MI. Approximately 880 students received drug education and awareness training for Rid Ribbon week this year. In these photos Detroit ASAC James Allen, SA Patrick Johnakin and Principal Sallie Burch spoke with some of the 5th grade students of Joseph M. Carkenord Elementary School in Macomb County, MI on October 27, 2009.

On October 25th, 2009, TFA Mark Faistenhammer conducted a Red Ribbon Week and drug education presentation to The Downriver Detroit Explorers Post 1818. This is an explorer's group that is sponsored by the Wyandotte (MI) Police Department.
