RED RIBBON EL PASO INTELLIGENCE CENTER

  • PUPPET SHOW at the El Paso Intelligence Cenerr Auditorium for elementary school students k – 4th. The Puppet show is narrated by hand puppets and its educational objective is to teach children the skills to make safe choices. The puppets are handled by DEA Special Agents and present an age appropriate red ribbon anti drug message.

  • October 20, 2009 -- Burnett Elementary 12noon 67 students 1st grade
  • October 21, 2009 -- Burnett Elementary 9am 12noon 59 students 2nd grade
  • October 22, 2009 -- Anthony New Mexico 9am 129 students 4th grade
  • October 26, 2009 -- Montanavista elementary 9am 180 students 3rd and 4th grades
  • October 28, 2009 -- Red Ribbon event at EPIC, co sponsored with DEA EL Paso Field Division Office. Key note speaker retired S/A Victor Cortez. Expected attendees include the city mayor, Congressman(Chairman) Silvestre Reyes, local PD Chief, SO, fire chief, local Federal Agency heads, leaders of the community, education superintendents, Judges, and both local high school and elementary students. Exhibits will be staffed by DEA, ATF, IRS, USCG, USSS, CPB, BP. USMS, EPPD, and the BP explorer club. Local high school Color Guard and Pipe and Drum Corp will also participate.
