On June 8, 2006, DEA hosted the first-ever national vigil for families directly affected by the loss of a loved one to drugs. Over 500 people gathered to share stories and emotions. Young people of all ages need to know about the dangers of drugs, and DEA’s Demand Reduction program uses innovative and effective strategies to deliver information to college, high school, middle school and elementary school age young people around the country. |
