Second Annual Girl Power Conference

The DEA/Newark Division, Demand Reduction Unit, and Cape Assist a non-profit prevention agency located in Cape May County, NJ developed a partnership and is pleased to announce the Second Annual Girl Power Conference on Saturday, October 05, 2002, from 8:30AM - 3:00PM, to be held at Cape May County Technical High School.

The conference targets girls from the ages of 10 through 14, and is FREE for all girls who wish to participate. Several highlighted events planned are the morning power walk, interactive workshops, and several exhibits.

This one-day conference will focus on current issues that girls contend with daily. Workshops such as Taking care of me, Safety Awareness, and Get Ready will make this event truly a winner. The DEA/Newark Division will have a female Special Agent present to address several anti-drug programs for the conference.
