Operation
Streetsweeper Results in the Arrest of Eight for Crack Cocaine Distribution
in the New Hampshire Seacoast Area
Concord, NH
Operation
Streetsweeper results in the arrest of eight.
Mark R. Trouville,
Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, New
England Field Division; Portsmouth Police Chief Michael Magnant; Hampton
Falls Police Chief Robbie Dirsa; and United States Attorney for the District
of New Hampshire Tom Colantuono announced the arrest of eight (8) individuals
on federal arrest warrants and two individuals on state arrest warrants
for the alleged distribution of "crack" cocaine in the Seacoast
area. The individuals were charged as part of Operation Streetsweeper,
a multi-agency drug enforcement initiative designed to attack the illegal
distribution of "crack" cocaine and other narcotics.
The individuals under
arrest are:
Charles Marbury
Dover, NH
Mr. Marbury is under
indictment by a federal grand jury on five (5) counts of "crack"
cocaine distribution. The drug sales with which he is charged are alleged
to have occurred in October and November 2002.
Jimmy Lee Thomas
Portsmith, NH
Mr. Thomas has been
charged by complaint issued by a federal magistrate with two (2) counts
of "crack" cocaine distribution.
Theodore Hurdle
Portsmouth, NH
Mr. Hurdle is under
indictment by a federal grand jury on four (4) counts of "crack"
cocaine distribution allegedly occurring between October and December
2002.
Hector Cruz
Orlando, FL
Mr. Cruz has been
charged by complaint issued by federal magistrate with one (1) count of
the manufacture and possession with intent to distribute "crack"
cocaine.
Dante Rodriguez
Bronx, NY
Mr. Rodriguez is
under indictment by a federal grand jury on one (1) count of conspiracy
to distribute "crack" cocaine stemming from his involvement
in sale of approximately 8 grams of "crack".
David Williams
Dover, NH
Mr. Williams is under
indictment by a federal grand jury on charges of conspiracy to distribute
"crack" cocaine, distribution of "crack" cocaine.
Michelle Tillery
Bronx, NY
Ms. Tillery is under
indictment by a federal grand jury on charges of aiding and abetting the
sale of "crack" cocaine.
Latasha Tillery
Bronx, NY
Ms. Tillery is under
indictment by a federal grand jury on four (4) counts of distribution
of "crack" cocaine.
The cases were investigated
by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Portsmouth Police Department
and the Hampton Falls Police Department. The federal cases are being prosecuted
by the United States Attorney's Office.
