New
England Field Division's New Cape Cod Office Opens
Members of the Boston Police
Gaelic Column & Pipe Band open the dedication ceremony for the
new Cape Cod Drug Task Force headquarters in Barnstable.

The New England
Field Division held a dedication ceremony for the new Cape Cod Drug Task
Force Office.
Mark R. Trouville, Special Agent
in Charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in New England delivered
the opening remarks at the recent dedication ceremony for the New Cape
Cod Drug Task Force office located in Barnstable, MA. The ceremony was
opened by members of the Boston Police Gaelic Column & Pipe Band and
the Barnstable Police Department Color Guard.
The dedication ceremony featured
West Barnstable Fire Chief John Jenkins, who sang the National Anthem
and paid tribute to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Presentations
of photographs for the new office were made by the police chiefs of the
Barnstable Police Department, Dennis Police Department, Plymouth Police
Department, Provincetown Police Department and the Wareham Police Department.
The enforcement efforts of the Cape Cod Task Force were praised by the
police chiefs.

Positive partnerships is what
the task force is all about, said Special Agent in Charge Mark R.
Trouville. The New England Field Division is committed to working
with our task force partners in fighting the scourge of drugs on Cape
Cod and the Islands.
The new office space provides the
agents and officers with a modern facility to conduct drug operations
and will aid in the enforcement activities on Cape Cod.
