version] Meth Trafficker Sentenced to 134 Months in Prison NOV 13 -- (PHOENIX) – Elizabeth W. Kempshall, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA’s Phoenix Field Division joined Diane J. Humetewa, U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona, to announce the sentencing of Eladio Cabrera-Dominguez. Cabrera-Dominguez, 33, of Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge James A. Teilborg to 134 months prison. Cabrera-Dominguez pleaded guilty on February 21, 2008 to Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine. Co-defendant Vidal Isaisa Montijo-Beltran was sentenced to 134 Months prison on October 29, 2008. After a months-long investigation, DEA Special Agents and detectives from the Scottsdale Police Department arrested Cabrera-Dominguez and Montijo-Beltran for distributing methamphetamine in Phoenix. Law enforcement officials searched a residence used as a drug stash house by this pair on April 13, 2008. They found Montijo-Beltran at the location with 19 plastic baggies containing approximately one pound of methamphetamine each. Montijo-Beltran also had two assault style weapons for his protection in the residence. Montijo-Beltran admitted that he distributed methamphetamine with Cabrera-Dominguez in Arizona when arrested. The methamphetamine had a purity of approximately 99% and each pound could have been further processed to provide thousands of individual use amounts with an estimated street value of $18,000 per pound. The pair had been arrested earlier in the investigation driving a car with a hidden-compartment that contained $6,620 in drug proceeds. The investigation in this case was conducted by Special Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Scottsdale Police Department. The prosecution was handled by Brian G.
