friendly page] Nashville Man Sentenced for Cocaine Possession in Kentucky
-Timothy Crutcher attempted to distribute 4 kilos of cocaine in Bowling Green, Kentucky OCT 28 -- BOWLING GREEN, KY - U.S. Attorney Candace G. Hill of the Western District of Kentucky announced today that Timothy Crutcher, age 43, of Nashville, Tennessee, was sentenced on October 23, 2009, to 6 years and 6 months imprisonment in United States District Court for possession with intent to distribute cocaine. U.S. District Judge Thomas B. Russell, also sentenced Crutcher to 4 years supervised release following imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal judicial system. Crutcher admitted that on May 16, 2008, he traveled from Nashville, Tennessee, to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to distribute approximately 4 kilograms of cocaine. Unbeknownst to Crutcher, agents of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Bowling Green/Warren County Drug Task Force had him under surveillance and arrested him when he attempted to deliver the cocaine. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Larry Fentress, and was investigated by the DEA and the Bowling Green/Warren County Drug Task Force. |
