Raceland Man Sentenced to 16 Years Imprisonment for Federal Drug Charges

NOV 04 -- NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA -TRAVIS BRADLEY, age 29, a resident of Raceland, Louisiana, was sentenced today by U. S. District Judge Kurt D. Engelhardt to sixteen (16) years (192 months) imprisonment for possession with intent to distribute fifty grams or more of cocaine base (crack), announced U. S Attorney Jim Letten. 

In addition to the term of imprisonment, Judge Engelhardt imposed ten (10) years of supervised release following the term of imprisonment during which time, the defendant will be under federal supervision and risks an additional term of imprisonment should he violate any terms of his supervised release.

According to court documents, on November 14, 2007, BRADLEY entered a guilty plea admitting that he possessed and distributed approximately 204 grams of cocaine base and 125 grams of cocaine hydrochloride in October, 2006.

This case was investigated by Special Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration, along with the deputies of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.   The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney, William J. Quinlan, Jr.
