Two Cousins Sentenced in Boise Liquid Meth Case
Radiator Overflow & Windshield Washer Fluid Containers Used

JUL 31 -- (BOISE, ID) – DEA Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Arnold R. Moorin announced that Gregorio Camacho-Paniagua, 21, of Infiernillo, Michoacan, Mexico, was sentenced on July 27, 2009 to 90 months in prison, for conspiracy to distribute/possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Co-defendant, Juan Bernardo Paniagua-Pacheco, 26, also of Infiernillo, Michoacan, Mexico, was sentenced on June 24, 2009, to 87 months in prison for the same crime.

An investigation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Ada County Sheriff’s Office in August 2008 revealed that the defendants were transporting liquid methamphetamine from Marietta, Georgia, to Idaho, in a 1995 Honda Accord. During the investigation, the defendants were captured on video removing the methamphetamine from the radiator overflow and windshield washer fluid containers in the engine compartment. The defendants were in the process of extracting the methamphetamine from the liquid when they were arrested.

Upon completion of their prison terms, both men will be deported to Mexico.
