DEA is currently seeking individuals interested in becoming DEA Special Agents who are currently in possession of a Bachelor Degree. A recruiting emphasis is made for those who posses Bachelor Degrees in the areas of FINANCE, ACCOUNTING, or ECONOMICS (minimum 12 hours of accounting in the ECONOMICS degree). These skills will be utilized to assist DEA in fulfilling its mission to seize and forfeit the assets derived from illicit drug trafficking.
Other basic hiring criteria include:

• You are a U.S. citizen.
• You have a current valid driver's license.
• You are willing to relocate.
• You have never been convicted of a felony or crime of domestic violence.
• You have never used any illegal drugs beyond the experimental use of marijuana.
• You are between the ages of 21 and 36.
