The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Dallas Field Division is committed to the best anti-drug training, not only for DEA personnel, but also for State and Local law enforcement counterparts in Northern Texas and Oklahoma.

Every year the DEA Dallas Field Division presents a variety of training courses, the most prominent being the DEA Basic Narcotics Investigator's Course. This two-week program is designed for police officers new to drug law enforcement. The attendees will be given current and relevant information in a variety of topics, including: Drug Identification; Surveillance Techniques; Interview and Interrogation; Raid Planning and Execution; Asset Forfeiture; Undercover Techniques; Informant Management; and Drug Law.

The DEA Dallas Field Division also offers other drug-related training programs throughout Northern Texas and Oklahoma and can develop custom programs to address the particular needs of the counter-drug investigators in your organization.

To obtain the latest training calendar with registration instructions, contact the Dallas Division Training Coordinator at 214-366-6959.

Drug trafficking organizations are always changing their methods of operation to continue making profits. If we are to be effective in disrupting these organizations we need to not only stay abreast of current trends, but we also need to continue working together and sharing resources. It is only through this cooperation that we can provide the quality of service that our citizens demand and deserve. The Dallas Field Division Training Unit stands ready to assist in your training needs to further our collective counter-drug mission.
