Four Kilos of Cocaine Seized – Two Nashville Men Indicted
- Cocaine’s street value $400,000

JUN 5 -- (Bowling Green, KY) - A federal grand jury in Bowling Green returned an indictment on June 4, 2008, against Timothy Crutcher, age 30, and Troy Stockard, age 35, both of 3828 Asheford Trace, Nashville, Tennessee, on charges of conspiracy to knowingly and intentionally distribute and possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, U.S. Attorney David L. Huber of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.

The Indictment alleges that from on or about April 17, 2008, to on or about May 16, 2008, in the Western District of Kentucky, the defendants, Crutcher and Stockard, conspired and agreed with each other and with other persons, to knowingly and intentionally distribute and possess with intent to distribute five or more kilograms of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine. The Indictment further charges that the defendants, knowingly and intentionally possessed with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine. The actual amount of cocaine seized on May 16, 2008, was approximately four kilograms, which has a street value of approximately $400,000.

In the event of a conviction, the maximum potential penalties are life imprisonment, an $8.000.000 fine, and supervised release for life, and there is a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of ten years, a fine of $2,000,000, and supervised release for four years.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Larry Fentress, and it was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Kentucky State Police, and the Bowling Green- Warren County Drug Task Force.

Crutcher and Stockard are scheduled to appear for arraignment before the United States Magistrate Judge on June 18, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
