DEA Recruits Special Agents At Detroit Minority Job Fair

photo from Career FairDetroit, MI- On September 22, 2004, members of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Detroit attended the MinorityJobFairs.com expo at the Ponchartrain Hotel in downtown Detroit. The DEA is actively seeking qualified Special Agent applicants for positions throughout the United States.

As narcotics enforcement agencies around the world work more closely together to dismantle international drug syndicates, the need for specialized backgrounds has become greater. As the lead drug law enforcement agency in the world, the DEA is recruiting persons with background education and experience in accounting, finance and economics. The DEA is working closely with law enforcement agencies around the globe to not only dismantle the narcotics distribution component of illegal enterprises but also the financial operations systems of these syndicates.
