Thank you for your interest in a career with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The DEA is truly a worldwide agency with Special Agents assigned to twenty-one domestic Field Divisions and seventy-eight foreign offices. The DEA is an international leader in the dismantling and prosecution of the world's most notorious drug trafficking organizations.

It is anticipated that a new Vacancy Announcement and hiring opportunity will be opened in late January 2010; please check back for updates regarding the new Vacancy Announcement.
During an open Vacancy Announcement, please contact Special Agent/Recruiting Coordinator Tina Hinojos at (915) 832-6111 for orientation scheduling. The dress attire for orientations is business casual. A valid driver’s license is mandatory for attendance. All attendees should bring a notepad and pen to take notes and document required information. The orientations will be approximately one and a half hours in length. Questions regarding the application process and Special Agent positions will be answered, to include pay, assignments, training etc. All applicants are required to attend an orientation in order to complete the application process.
