DEA Tampa Plays Santa Claus

JAN 15—During the recent Christmas holidays, Miami Field Division Tampa DO personnel put together a holiday box for the Military Police Security Teams and Combat Engineers, located at the Iraq Provisional Command in Iraq. The Iraq Provisional Command's mission is to manage construction of military-related projects and assist in the rebuilding of Iraq's infrastructure. The soldiers stationed in Iraq greatly appreciated receiving the holiday box. They wrote that "As you might expect there were some jokes about getting a 'stash' from the DEA but I must say we were all touched by your thoughtfulness...You are truly amazing, to go to the time, effort and expense to gather the items up to send a care package to a group of strangers...While we struggle to get this country and society back on its feet, we salute you and support you in your battle to defeat those that would poison, and destroy our country from within. Your efforts are no less important nor difficult than what we are doing here."
