New Jersey Division Presents 3rd Anthony D. Cammarato Award for Outstanding
Dedication and Commitment in the Field of Prevention

On March 4, 2005,
Special Agent in Charge, Michael Pasterchick, Jr. presented the 3rd
Anthony D. Cammarato award of excellence for outstanding dedication
and commitment in the field of prevention, at the 5th Annual Prevention
Conference, “Leading the Response,” at the Ocean Place
Resort and Conference Center, Long Branch, New Jersey.
The conference was hosted by DEA-New Jersey Division, New Jersey Prevention
Network, State of New Jersey, Department of Human Services, New Jersey State
Police and the New Jersey National Guard. Over six hundred (600) attendees
who consisted of prevention specialists, treatment providers, education officials,
faith worshipping groups, and law enforcement attended this program.
Soon
after the keynote speech, SAC Pasterchick spoke in memory of SAC Anthony
D. Cammarato, “On January 08, 2003, after a battle with cancer
we at the DEA, New Jersey lost a true leader. SAC Cammarato lived for the
job and committed every resource in fighting for a cause that he truly
believed in. That’s why it is very important to continue his commitment
in drug law enforcement, to include our education and prevention programs”.
SAC Pasterchick presented the 3rd Anthony D. Cammarato award of excellence
for outstanding dedication and commitment in the field of prevention to
Mr. Ronald Susswein. Mr. Susswein is employed with the State of New Jersey,
Office of the Attorney General and serves as a Deputy Director of Major
Crimes, Prevention Services, Division of Criminal Justice.
