Seizure of 31 lbs of Black Tar Heroin

JULY 14--On July 14, 2004, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the San Francisco Police Department, with the assistance of the Richmond Police Department, served a State search warrant and arrested Abel Deltoro (33) at his residence located at 441 South 27th Street, Richmond, California.

At this residence, the law enforcement officers found and seized approximately 31 pounds of black tar heroin.

Deltoro was placed under arrest and has been charged with 21 USC 841 (a)(1), Possession with intent to distribute.

The defendant is a Mexican national and was found to be residing illegally in the United States.

Acting Special Agent in Charge Greg Sullivan stated: “The cooperation between federal and local authorities made this seizure possible.”

The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven otherwise.
