Acting General Counsel
Jean King is the Acting General Counsel of the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Jean most recently served as the Deputy General Counsel from December 2012 to October 2014. Previously she served as a counsel to the Director, Acting Director of Operations for the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), temporary member of the BIA, and senior legal advisor for the BIA. Jean started her career with EOIR in 1996 as an attorney advisor with the BIA. Prior to joining EOIR, Jean spent one year as a judicial law clerk with the Superior Court of Connecticut. Jean received her bachelor of arts from Brown University and her law degree from the College of William and Mary.
