- The Arlington Immigration Court adjudicates cases that arise in the states of Virginia and in the District of Columbia, as well as cases from all over the United States that are granted a change of venue to Arlington.
- Information regarding the status of a case is available by calling 1-800-898-7180.
- Public restrooms are located on the first/ground floor of the building. Access is available by advising building security that the respondent is at the Court for a scheduled hearing. Building security will provide a key to the public restrooms.
- For security reasons, there is no public elevator access to Court before 8:30 a.m. Public elevator access to the court is available between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- The Arlington Immigration Court conducts interactive video hearings for aliens (also know as respondents or applicants) detained at the Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville, Virginia, the Hampton Roads Regional Jail and as required, other DHS Virginia detainee locations. These are individual hearings and master (pleadings) calendars, and generally, are open to the public. To ensure access to a video hearing, a minimum of one week's prior coordination with the Arlington Immigration Court is highly recommended.
- The Arlington Immigration Court also conducts periodic hearings at the James River Correction Center, Goochland, Virginia, under the auspices of the Institutional Hearing Program (IHP).
