Senior Executive Resources Board (SERB) November 19, 2009
The SERB is responsible for general oversight of the management of the DOJ’s executive resources and functions as an advisor to the Attorney General in executive personnel planning, utilization of executive resources, executive development, and evaluation of executive personnel programs. Specifically, this SERB meeting will focus on the close-out of the Executive Performance Cycle for 2009.
Executive and Senior Professional Resources Management Policy – Pending JMD Offices Review
The Executive and Political Personnel section reviewed Component comments. Comments have been addressed and, where appropriate, incorporated into the revised policy. Our goal is to have the Policy available for Head of Component review phase by January 2010. We appreciate your valued feedback and support as we work towards establishing one comprehensive policy covering the Department’s executive and senior professional cadre.
2010/2011 Biennial Allocation Cycle - Pending
The Department submitted its SES/SP allocation request to OPM/OMB for review on April 14, 2009. When OPM/OMB renders their decision on additional SES/SP allocations the SERB will convene to determine the allocation of approved positions to the Components.
