Human Resources Policy

Staff
The Human Resources (HR) Policy Division is the centerpiece of HR policy in the Department developing and setting implementing policies and procedures in the following program areas: awards (other than executive and political personnel), benefits, classification, leave, management employee relations, pay, performance management (other than the Senior Executive Service), staffing and worklife programs. As part of DOJs progress in achieving the Human Capital goals in the President's Management Agenda, OPM scores the Department on our progress in addressing under-representation in key occupations and leadership ranks, the effectiveness of our recruitment strategies to address under-representation, and our efforts to expand diversity in other components and other occupational series. HR Policy identifies mission critical occupations and analyzes reports that captured relevant information data in these occupations.
