West will do anything it can to help the offices in the Gulf Coast area that have been affected by the hurricane. This includes replacing any print materials that they subscribe to, giving out temporary passwords for online access, replacing entire libraries with whatever West still has available in print and anything else that they may be able to provide. CCH Tax and Accounting (CCH) said today it has put into place a disaster recovery plan for customers whose businesses and practices are affected by Hurricane Katrina. The program is designed to help all CCH customers who use the company's information and research products.
This plan includes but is not limited to:
The replacement policy does not apply to casebooks, transfer binders, transfer casebooks or historical volumes of annual publications since most of these are out of print and no longer available in print. There is a temporary hold on mailings of all product updates, newsletters, invoices and billing statements to our customers located in the disaster area.
