  • Review current position descriptions and current performance standards for accuracy.
  • Organize the work to be done. Review project outlines to identify discrete tasks and functions. Identify starting and ending times for tasks. As necessary, work with project schedules to maintain completion of deadlines.
  • As you do with employees who do not participate in the Worklife Program, set clear expectations. Establish quantitative and qualitative goals for tasks and functions you assign. Be clear what work is to be done, how much is to be completed, and when the work is due. Clarify each employee’s role in ensuring successful results, especially of critical outcomes. Establish a procedure for addressing situations in which assignments are not completed properly or on time.
  • Consistent with performance management of employees not participating in the Worklife Program, ensure the availability of necessary equipment. Determine the feasibility of procuring special equipment for designated employees or projects. Re-align work assignments according to the availability of the required equipment.
