U.S. Marshal Jesse Seroyer Jr.

 Jesse Seroyer, Jr. was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as United States Marshal for the Middle District of Alabama on March 13, 2002.  Marshal Seroyer began his law enforcement career in 1976 with the Opelika Police Department where he worked as a police officer and detective for 11 years.  During his tenure with the police department he worked for six years as an undercover agent throughout the state of Alabama and received many certificates of merit from state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the state.  In 1987 Marshal Seroyer received an appointment with the State of Alabama Attorney General's office to serve as director of investigations.  During his tenure with the Attorney General's office his investigate work throughout the state led to convictions in cases involving illegal drugs, obscenity, white collar crimes, violent crimes, sports agent violations, public corruption, and judicial misconduct.  In 2001 Marshal Seroyer received the Attorney General's award for excellence in investigative services.  Marshal Seroyer is a certified instructor for the University of Alabama Law Enforcement Academy and has trained several undercover agents throughout the state in undercover procedures.  In his 26 years of law enforcement service for the state of Alabama he has received numerous awards for outstanding service.  Marshal Seroyer is a member of several law enforcement associations.
