  • October 25, 2009 - Operation Shepherd, a multi-state sex offender sweep, has netted 117 arrests and conducted over 2600 compliance checks. U.S. Marshals in Colorado and Wyoming partnered up with Crime Stoppers and more than 50 law enforcement agencies, including lmmigration Customs Enforcement, Department of Corrections – Parole and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, to carry out the massive sweep.
  • January 17, 2009 - Jesse Sloan,39, was arrested in Fort Garland by members of the Fugitive Location and Apprehension Group (FLAG), the Alamosa Police Department, the Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Costilla County Sheriff’s Office, the Colorado State Patrol, and parole officers from the Colorado Department of Corrections. Sloan was wanted by the Colorado Department of Corrections for parole violation on original charges of escape and theft. Sloan had an extensive criminal history and was known to use aliases.
  • October 09, 2008 - John Richard Beato, 22, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Basalt by members of the Fugitive Location and Apprehension Group (FLAG), the Basalt Police Department and deputy U.S. marshals from Denver and Grand Junction. Beato was wanted by the Tulsa, OK Police Department for the August, 2007 murder of 25-year-old Antonio Flores. Flores was found dead in his mobile home several days after he was killed.
  • October 03, 2008 - Domingo Lopez-Avaloy, a 24-year-old from Honduras, was arrested early yesterday, October 2nd, at his apartment in Charlotte, NC. Domingo Lopez-Avaloy was the only one of four suspects still wanted in connection with the 2004 kidnapping and sexual assault of a 12 year old female at the Heatherwood Apartments in Aurora.
