- April 19,
2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force announced today the arrest of Nicky Lee Anderson from Catawba,
North Carolina, for multiple counts of rape of a child.
- April 16,
2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force along with Okaloosa County Deputies captured Coty Keith Holmes
at a motel in Fort Walton Beach. Holmes, considered a Tennessee
Bureau of Investigation Top Ten Wanted Fugitive, is wanted by the
and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for his alleged involvement
in beating a man to death with a ball-peen hammer.
- March 22, 2013
- At least 50 wanted people were locked up, courtesy of a sweep
led by U.S. Marshals and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office
targeting the Sex Offenders who failed to keep up with their state
mandated registration requirements as registered sex offenders. The
week long operation known as Operation F.A.S.T.E.R. also cleared
over 50 warrants.
- March 19, 2013
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force
captured fugitives Rico Savage and Lakisha Savage in southwest
Ocala. Rico was on probation for possession of cocaine, carjacking,
burglary of a dwelling, aggravated battery upon a pregnant woman,
possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, felony fleeing or
attempting to elude police, and aggravated assault with a firearm.
Lakisha was wanted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on an
outstanding arrest warrant for obstruction of justice and resisting
an officer without violence.
- January 31,
2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force apprehended the last two suspects of five people who have been
charged by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office with Kidnapping,
Robbery and Aggravated Assault. Bertina Eloise Krider and Shannon
Elizabeth Yeary were captured at a home in Niceville, FL.
- January 25,
2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force in Ft. Lauderdale arrested a teacher yesterday who is wanted
in New Jersey on charges of sexual assault on a student at the
school where she was a teacher. Jennalin Garcia-Calle was taken into
custody yesterday by U.S. Marshals and task force officers from the
Ft. Lauderdale and Davie Police Departments.
- January 11,
2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force captured a wanted man who is being sought in three counties.
The capture came while the Task Force was conducting surveillance of
a home on Saleta Street, and they saw fugitive Antwan Jernell Thomas
arrive and go inside.
- January 11, 2013 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida
Regional Fugitive Task Force captured fugitive Bryan
Greenlee, 36, this afternoon in a Gainesville neighborhood near
Newberry Road. Greenlee was wanted by the Levy County Sheriff’s
Office on four separate counts of possession of a firearm by a
convicted felon.
- January 09, 2013 -
The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) captured
fugitive Bryon Killin yesterday in southeast Ocala. Killins was
wanted by the Orlando Police Department for several offenses
including: first-degree murder, accessory after the fact, and
tampering with physical evidence.
- December 14, 2012 -
The Gainesville Division of the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force captured fugitive Randy Harr in a wooded area in southeast Alachua County.
Harr was wanted by multiple Tennessee agencies, including the Hawkins County
Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, for shooting and
killing his wife’s ex-husband and then setting the victim’s house on fire to
conceal evidence.
- November 28, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Pensacola coordinated
the arrest of a convicted sex offender who has been sought by Santa Rosa County
Sheriff’s Office and the Task Force for over five years. Randolph Carroll Flinn
was arrested by U.S. Marshals and members from the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders
& Fugitive Task Force in Galveston yesterday.
- November 20, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) announced today
the arrest of Shannon Brewer, from Florence, Alabama for First Degree Murder and
Attempted Murder. Brewer was being sought by authorities in Huntsville, Alabama
after investigators determined that Brewer stabbed Mark Dishon and Sandra Sikes
at Dishon’s home in Lauderdale County, Alabama.
- October 19, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested two
wanted men; one hiding under bed sheets and the other trying to hide drugs.
Earlier today Mario Deoandre Copeland, who has an extensive criminal history,
was captured in Pensacola. Yesterday, Task Force members from the
Marshals, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, a K9 Unit and special agents from
the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms apprehended Robert Rufus Ball Jr.
who was wanted for Failure to Register as a Convicted Sex Offender.

The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) today announced the
arrest of Franco Thomas, 14 years of age from St. Petersburg, FL for First
Degree Murder.
- September 13, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) today announced
the arrest of Anthony M. Bell Jr., 19 years of age, from Riviera Beach, FL for
First Degree Murder with a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted
Felon.
- August 27, 2012 -
The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Pennsylvania man
wanted for a parole violation on a 6 year prison sentence he served for
aggravated assault with a handgun. Devaughn Anthony Coad was captured by task
force officers from the Marshals, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and the
Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
- August 15, 2012 -
The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force hit the streets of Pensacola
early today and arrested three Pensacola men wanted on numerous charges that
include aggravated assault with a weapon, armed robbery, using a firearm and
including a non-registered sex offender.
- August 03, 2012 -
The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Escambia County
Sheriff’s Office TAC Team captured an Alabama fugitive who failed to appear on
charges of 2nd Degree Rape and Possession of Pornographic Material of a Minor.
U.S. Marshals were conducting surveillance of a residence where Dion Demetrius
Taylor was reportedly hiding out in Pensacola.

The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force announces the arrest of
Michael Allan McCants, a Pensacola man who is a suspect in a drive-by shooting
that took place in Pensacola several months ago.
- July 05, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force discovered a
small cache of guns, a bulletproof vest and rounds and rounds of ammunition
earlier this afternoon, when they captured a fugitive wanted since November of
last year. Aggravated assault suspect Jeremy Jerel Fountain was arrested without
incident inside a home on Escalona Avenue in Pensacola.
- June 21, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force captured a
Tennessee fugitive this afternoon who is wanted on four counts of Aggravated
Sexual Battery. Shannon Lee Russell of Forest Park Drive, Pensacola, is wanted
by law enforcement in McMinn County, TN for allegedly sexually assaulting a
young girl over a five year period.
- June 19, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force
arrested a convicted sex offender who tried to elude them by jumping
out of a 3rd story window. At 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Task Force
knocked on the door of a room at a hotel located on the 8200 Block
of N. Davis Highway attempting to arrest James Erik Cross.
- May 07, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force
caught up with a wanted Pensacola man while he was sleeping in a
hotel room one county away from where he was being sought. Escambia
County fugitive Dexter Antonio Locke awoke to Task Force Officers
standing over him at the Red Roof Inn in Santa Rosa County.

The U.S. Marshals and the Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force announces a new way to help catch murderers, kidnappers, armed
robbers, gang members and other violent criminals – you can now text
your tips. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of a
known fugitive can simply text “TIP411” or “847411” and enter the
key word “USMFL”.
- April 18, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Ohio
man wanted for murdering another man in an alleged drug deal gone bad. The
Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) was contacted by the Northern Ohio
Violent Fugitive Task Force yesterday requesting the help of the local Marshals
in locating and arresting Javonte Hodges.
- April 17, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF)
announced the arrest of Tedrick Miguel Childs of Havanna, Florida during a
felony vehicle stop on Hwy 20 in Tallahassee, FL. Childs, who is a documented
Folk Nation Gang Member, was currently being sought by the Muscogee County
Sheriff’s Office in Columbus, GA as well as the Columbus Police Department on
charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Cruelty to Children,
Criminal Damage to Property, Burglary, Terroristic Threats and Acts and Arson.
- April 13, 2012 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF)
announced the arrest of Ronell Octavius Gillins of Miramar, Florida at an
apartment complex located in Tallahassee, FL. Gillins was currently being sought
by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Miramar, FL on charges of Attempted 1s
Degree Murder.
- April 04, 2012 -
A
Pensacola man who never returned from a break during the jury deliberations of
which he was on trial for murder, was apprehended by the combined effort of U.S.
Marshals from Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL. Task Force members from the Gulf
Coast and Florida Regional Fugitive Task Forces arrested Ortavious Devon Wilson
at the Loxley Motel last night.
- March 28, 2012 -
A fugitive wanted by law enforcement in Mississippi was arrested by the
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Pensacola while seated in
a barber’s chair getting a haircut. The Task Force started working this case
over a week ago when they received information from Oxford City Police
Department in Mississippi that Richard OKelley was believed to be in the
Pensacola area.
- March 28, 2012 -
A man who escaped from authorities in Louisiana yesterday morning was
caught by the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Pensacola
and Escambia Patrol deputies in the parking lot of Casino Beach around 11
o’clock last night. Shawn Jolivette had walked away from a jail road crew work
detail at about 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.
- March 21, 2012 The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Pensacola man
wanted in Escambia County for three sexual assault charges on a person under 18
years old. Anthony Cherry was captured this morning around 11:00 a.m. while he
tried to hide in a bedroom of a house.
- March 20, 2012
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force
arrested a Maryland man wanted for armed bank robbery and a number
of other violent felonies. Brian Danielle Taylor was captured this
afternoon by the Task Force with the assistance of Escambia County
Sheriff’s Deputies and special agents from the Florida Department of
Law Enforcement.
- February 17,
2012 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force (FRFTF) today announced the arrest Nima Nash Moradi of
Orlando, Florida at an apartment complex located in Tallahassee, FL.
Moradi was currently being sought by the Orange County Sheriff’s
Office, Orlando, FL on charges of 2nd Degree Homicide.
- January 18,
2012 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force arrested a convicted sexual predator who has been dodging law
enforcement for months. Timothy Lee Rentas was captured by the Task
Force with the assistance of Escambia County Sheriff’s Deputies from
the Sexual Offender Unit and Warrants Division.
- December 19,
2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force announces the capture of a Pensacola man who is accused of
shooting and killing a baby in a housing complex in Pensacola in
mid-July of this year. Dwayne Cordell Pinestraw, aka “Money”, was
apprehended by the Dallas U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task
Force incident.
- November 30,
2011 - A Crestview, Florida man wanted in connection with a
Homicide and Armed Robbery is finally behind bars after almost two
weeks on the run. According to investigators from the Okaloosa
County Sheriff’s Office, Deaundros L. Blackshear was involved in an
armed robbery on November 15, 2011 in Destin, Florida which ended in
the shooting death of 21 year old Junior Christopher Ferguson.
- November 04,
2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force and the Pensacola Police arrested a Bay county man wanted on
numerous charges of child molestation as he walked off a plane at
Pensacola Airport. John Claude Chambers was arrested by task force
members from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), State
Attorney’s Office and Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office without
incident and was escorted from the rear stairs of the jet way by
Pensacola Police and placed into a patrol car.
- October 14,
2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force (FRFTF) from Pensacola apprehended a man who according to
police reports said he would kill his wife, her family and law
enforcement should they try to stop him. According to a report taken
by the Sheriff’s Office in Santa Rosa taken earlier this week James
Walter Robinson told his wife, “…tell them cops to come on, I have
lots of guns and if they come over here someone is going to die.”

07, 2011 - U.S. Marshals Service Director Stacia A. Hylton
swore in Edward M. Spooner on Thursday as the new U.S. Marshal for
the Northern District of Florida at the agency’s headquarters in
Washington.
- October 06, 2011 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force caught up
with a Walton County, FL woman suspected of assisting a murder
suspect by moving the body of the victim, burning his bloody clothes
and then hiding the suspect from police in a hotel room where she
worked. Sara Golden Hanks was apprehended yesterday in Samson, AL.
- September 17,
2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force from Pensacola and The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office
Special Response Team (SRT) apprehended an Okaloosa man after he
barricaded himself inside of a 1 bedroom apartment. At about 2:30
p.m. the Task Force surrounded a unit of the Royale Apartment
complex on Colonial Court, in Ft. Walton Beach. They quickly gained
entry into the apartment once they knew fugitive Ian Phillip
Garroutte was there.

August 30, 2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF)
in Pensacola joined together with the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF)
from Mobile to capture a man who is accused of shooting and killing another man
in Atmore, AL. Antonio Alberto Crenshaw was apprehended
this morning by the U.S. Marshal Task Forces along with task force officers from
Mobile and Pensacola at a room at the Red Roof Inn.
- July 20, 2011
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force from
Pensacola caught up with a fugitive who has been eluding law
enforcement in 3 local area counties in the panhandle. Angel
Christopher Godinez, 19, who has outstanding warrants in Okaloosa,
Escambia and Jackson Counties, was arrested at an apartment in Ft.
Walton Beach this evening just after 7 p.m.
- July 16, 2011
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF)
announces the arrest of two South Florida fugitives and the recovery
of two abducted children in the early morning hours of July 16.
FRFTF members received an urgent late night call last night from the
U.S. Marshals in West Palm Beach in regards to the possible location
of two missing juveniles.

- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF)
today announced the arrest of thirty year old Marquez Cornelius
Vaughn of Opelika, Alabama at an apartment complex located in
Tallahassee, FL. Vaughn was currently being sought by the Opelika
Police Department and the US Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive
Task Force in Montgomery, Alabama on charges of 1st Degree Robbery
and 2nd Degree Assault.
- July 12, 2011
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF)
has found violent fugitives hiding in every conceivable way;
underneath clothes in the closet, in attic crawl spaces, inside the
trunks of cars, walls, clothes dressers and yes even inside
refrigerators. However, when members of the FRFTF responded to 509
Magnolia Drive this morning in an attempt to locate Deon Dorsey,
Dorsey added a new wrinkle to what these fugitive investigators have
seen. Deon Dorsey, a 20 year old citizen of Tallahassee, was
currently being sought by the Tallahassee Police Department on
charges of Domestic Battery by Strangulation.
- June 23, 2011 - The U.S. Marshals
Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force from Pensacola arrested a sexual predator
wanted by the Florida State Parole Commission who cut his monitoring bracelet
off and allegedly stole his employer’s vehicle and fled to the DeFuniak Springs
area before being arrested in Florala, Al late yesterday afternoon.
On June 7, Richard Hudson, who had been on supervised release for
his prior conviction of three counts of sexual battery by threat or
force, cut off his monitoring device and fled Orange County, FL.
- May 20, 2011 - The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force from Pensacola
arrested an Indiana man yesterday who is wanted as the primary
suspect in a string of burglaries covering at least five counties in
Indiana; where a cache of rifles, handguns electronic equipment
jewelry, safes and various other items worth approximately $25,000
were recovered from his home in Corydon, Indiana. Zachary
Taylor Frey led US Marshals, Task Force Officers from Santa Rosa and
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Offices, Ft. Walton Beach Police
Department, FDLE and patrol deputies from Santa Rosa County in a
lengthy high speed chase leading them through heavy noontime traffic,
through
rural streets, conducting numerous u-turns and even drove into
on-coming traffic. During the chase, Frey
attempted to drive head-on with the law enforcement cars and could
be seen smiling taunting the officers as if it were a game.
- May 19, 2011
- The Office of the Director of the U.S. Marshals Service is
pleased to announce that the U.S. Marshals Florida Caribbean
Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF), including its Tallahassee
Office, received a Director’s Honorary Award today during a ceremony
in Arlington, VA. The FRFTF was commended for their part in
assisting local and state law enforcement agencies in apprehending
Florida’s most violent felons in 2010.
- April 28, 2011
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force from
Pensacola arrested an Alabama man this afternoon who is wanted for
luring a another man into the woods where he had planned to kill him
and then bury him in a grave he already dug up. Nicholas Wayne
Hamlett, 31, is wanted on charges of Attempted Murder, Kidnapping
and Menacing after tricking the man into following him into a wooded
area where he had planned to beat the man to death.
- April 20, 2011
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force captured a
Pensacola man who walked out of a hospital in late November last
year right before he was to be arrested by Pensacola Police
Department on charges of Assault on an Officer, Carrying a Concealed
Weapon, Resisting an Officer with Violence and Possession of
Marijuana over 20 Grams. Anthony Michael Smith was arrested without
incident at the Fairway Villas Apartment Complex off of Michigan
Avenue.
- April 01, 2011
- In the last three months the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force Task Force has located and arrested about a half
dozen Escambia County Sex Offenders locally and in numerous other
states. Recently, the Escambia County Sheriff's Department requested
assistance from the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in locating
wanted absconded sex offenders from the Pensacola area. These
offenders had not registered and had been on the run for several
years.
- March 23, 2011
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force today
announced the arrest of Lyndell Davis, 48, of Tallahassee, Florida
for the offenses of Armed Kidnapping, Armed Sexual Assault, and
Armed Robbery on a Miami Police Department case dating back to 1988.
Miami Dade Police Detectives made the connection on the unsolved
case involving the kidnapping, rape, and robbery of a 16 year old
female after receiving a DNA match for Davis through the Federal
Bureau of Investigation’s Combined DNA Index System.
- March 16, 2011
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF)
apprehended a fugitive yesterday that is wanted by the Jacksonville
Sheriff’s Office for Armed Robbery, Aggravated Battery and for being
a Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The U.S. Marshals
Pensacola Division of the FRFTF caught up with Jay Anthony Middelton
while he was fishing behind a friend’s house in south Walton County.
- February 28,
2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force arrested a man suspected of robbing a local supermarket liquor
store at gunpoint at a motel located in Pensacola this afternoon.
Clifford J. Faust, 50, is thought to be the gunman in a video using
what is believed to be a handgun robbing the Publix store located on
Mobile Highway in Pensacola.
- February 25, 2011
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in
Pensacola had a busy week capturing fugitives in several different
counties in the local area including Baldwin County in AL. This
morning, the Task Force assisted the Escambia County Gang Unit and a
K9 Officer to apprehend two men wanted by Escambia County in a
Pensacola motel. Darius Louis Hunter, 23, is wanted for Armed
Robbery and Deangelo Deon Bender, 21, wanted for Violation of
Probation and Failure to Appear on Cocaine charges. Yesterday the
FRFTF teamed up with the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force
from Mobile to arrest 39 year old Dennis Ray Burkhart in the parking
lot of the Bass Pro Shop in Spanish Fort, AL. Burkhart is wanted in
Escambia County, FL for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender and by
the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office for Dangerous Drugs and
Probation Violation. Also arrested by the FRFTF yesterday was Daniel
Lamar Sanders, 27, wanted in Okaloosa County for Cruelty Toward a
Child/Abuse Causing Great Bodily Harm when he allegedly burned a
small child with cigarette and held it to the child’s skin. Sanders
was captured by the Task Force after trying to flee out of a window
at home on the 7800 block of Red Barrow road in the Blackmon
Community in north Okaloosa County.
- February 23,
2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force arrested a Pensacola man yesterday after they found him
hiding in the trunk of a car. Henry Dewayne Watson was wanted by
the U.S. Marshals in Pensacola on a federal warrant for Failure
to Appear on a Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm
charge. Watson also has a Santa Rosa County warrant for
Aggravated Stalking.

February 18,
2011 - After eight long years on the run two men
wanted on charges of Sexual Assault on a Physically Helpless
Victim will finally face justice in a Leon County courtroom. The
case began back in August 2001 when the Tallahassee Police
Department (TPD) received a call from the Tallahassee Memorial
Hospital Emergency Room in regards to a Sexual Battery.

February 01,
2011 - The United States Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force announced the arrest today of Gary John
Butler, 27, of Riviera Beach, Florida for the offense of 1st
Degree Murder with a Firearm. Butler was currently being sought
by the Riviera Beach Police Department after law enforcement
officers developed probable cause that Butler shot and killed a
female during an altercation at a house party last month.

2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force from Pensacola arrested a Niceville man in the early
morning hours today after he escaped from authorities Monday
evening. Bryant Gafford, 19, was in custody at about 5:30 p.m.
last night at the Niceville Police Department after being
arrested for Trafficking in Oxycodone and Possession of a
Controlled Substance.

January 18, 2011 - The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a
Pensacola man this afternoon who reportedly is the lone suspect in a
home invasion robbery that took place in Escambia County last
August. Jarvis Lamar Jesse, 25, is said to have broke into the front
door of a house in the southwest end of the county.

January 12,
2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive
Task Force apprehended a fugitive from Massachusetts who
reportedly sexually assaulted and battered two girls, one over
the age of 14 and the other girl under 14 years old. Matthew
Robert Brennan, 24, originally from Chicopee, MA was nabbed by
the Task Force early this afternoon.

January 05,
2011 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force arrested an escapee today from Chicago, who reportedly
arrived in Pensacola on New Year’s Eve. Fred Hoye, 40, who was
originally arrested under the alias “Theodore Usher” was out on
bail in Cook County, IL on drug charges and placed on GPS

2010 - The United States Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force announced the arrest today of 72 fugitives
from justice over a week long operation dubbed “Operation
Seasons Greetings.” U.S. Marshals and their local task force
partners hit the streets of Gadsden, Leon, Madison, Taylor, and
Wakulla Counties over the past five days in an attempt to round
up as many wanted fugitives as possible prior to the holidays.

December 14, 2010 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force in Pensacola arrested a man wanted from Dallas County, AL on charges of
Kidnapping in the 1st Degree. James Frank Carter was arrested at a house on the
1400 Block of Dexter Avenue in Pensacola around 10:30 this morning. Carter, 51,
is charged with one count of kidnapping on the warrant that dates back to April
of 2007.

December 03,
2010 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force (FRFTF) arrested a man late this afternoon wanted by the
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office for a murder that took place
over two years ago in Pensacola. Daniel Levi Ward, 22, is
suspected of shooting and killing Linda Tate inside of her home
on Blue Angel Parkway in October of 2008.

November 15, 2010 - Individuals wanted for non-violent
misdemeanor crimes in Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla Counties will soon have the
chance to turn themselves in at a local church, where they may receive
favorable consideration on their open warrants. A Congressionally-authorized United States Marshals Service initiative
known as Fugitive Safe Surrender will take place Wednesday, December 8th,
through Saturday, December 11th, at the Bethel AME Church, located at 501
West Orange Avenue in Tallahassee, Florida.

November 09,
2010 - The U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest
Regional Fugitive Task Force (PSRFTF), working in conjunction
with investigators from the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) in Pensacola, FL arrested Elmer Omar
Bonilla in California on a warrant charging him with Lewd and
Lascivious Molestation of a Minor and Unlawful Sexual
Intercourse with a Minor.

November 05, 2010 -
The United States Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force
announced the arrest today of Monday Lee Demarsh, 36, of Monticello,
Florida for the offense of Homicide. Demarsh was currently being
sought by the Lakeland Police Department outside of Tampa, Florida
after law enforcement officers developed probable cause that Demarsh
was responsible for the death of his live-in girlfriend.

2010 - The United States Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force announced the arrest today of Donnie Tubbs,
35, of Matthews, Missouri for the offenses of Escape and
Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution.

October 26,
2010 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force is asking for help in locating a man wanted for
Obstruction of an Investigation by Tampering with Evidence of a
Human Corpse and who is a suspect in a woman’s murder in Texas.
Police and the U.S. Marshals in Houston, TX are searching for
convicted killer Dennis Ray Anderson, 64, after a Crime Stoppers
tip led authorities to find a woman's body in a barrel at his
Houston-area home last Thursday.

September 24,
2010 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force assisted the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) and
arrested two wanted men who barricaded a door and held two women
and children inside. Marcus Deonte Flintroy who has five active
felony warrants with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, was
located in an apartment by the Task Force and Escambia Patrol
early this morning.

September 17,
2010 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force arrested absconded sex offender Calen
Girtman in Winter Haven, Florida after a month long fugitive
investigation. According to the Tallahassee Police Department,
Girtman absconded from his address on July 7, 2010 when he cut
off his court ordered Mobile Tracking Device. Girtman was being
supervised by the Florida Department of Corrections Probation
and Parole Board for a prior felony conviction for Failure to
Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.

September 07, 2010 - The
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Pensacola
man who is wanted in both Ft. Lauderdale and Escambia County after hours
of negotiations. Jimmy Eugene
Suarez is said to be affiliated with a gang known as the ‘Gangster
Disciples’. The Sheriff’s Office and
the Task Force received information that Suarez was in a house in Pensacola. Task Force investigators attempted ordering
Suarez out of the residence to surrender peacefully for over two hours.
At about 10:30 p.m. a relative assisted the officers by negotiating with
Suarez on a cell phone until Suarez finally walked out the front door
and was taken into custody without further incident.

2010 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office hit the streets
of Pensacola this week capturing elusive fugitives and thwarting
some criminals. The Task Force worked together with the
Sheriff’s Office targeting violent fugitives trying to help make
the people in the community feel a little safer.

- The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force
(GCRFTF), working in conjunction with investigators from the
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) in
Pensacola, FL arrested a man wanted by the Okaloosa County
Sheriff's Office, for Kidnapping/False Imprisonment and Felony
Battery related to a domestic violence charge. William Andrew
Pugliesi, 44, aka ‘Andy Rose’ was arrested at about 11:30 a.m.
this morning by the U.S. Marshals GCRFTF in New Orleans.

July 23, 2010
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force
arrested a man late this afternoon wanted by the Jefferson
County Sheriff’s Department in Birmingham, AL who had been
hiding in Pensacola for several months. Markies Terrell
Cleveland, 23, who is wanted on a charge of Sex Offender Failure
to Notify of Change of Residence, was arrested during a felony
car stop in Pensacola, FL.

June 03, 2010
- The U.S. Marshals from Oxford, MS apprehended a Santa Rosa
County man who had possibly fled the Pensacola area 8 years ago.
John David Josey who has an outstanding warrant from the
Sheriff’s Office in Santa Rosa for violation of probation for
Possession of Marijuana, also has a violation of probation
felony warrant from Escambia County, FL for Possession of
Cocaine. Josey, 31, has actually been wanted since 2002.

May 28, 2010
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in
Pensacola arrested a Milton man who has been eluding law
enforcement and the Marshals since February. Task Force Officers
who were conducting surveillance observed John Irwin Lewis as a
passenger in a car driven by a woman driving down Stewart Street
in Milton. In July of 2009 a warrant was issued for Lewis'
arrest in Santa Rosa County for methamphetamine related charges.
- May 28,
2010 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive
Task Force arrested an Armed Robbery suspect wanted out of
California after a foot pursuit across Highway 29 in
Pensacola. Larry Lightning, 30, is wanted in San Diego on a
warrant that alleges he was the gunman in a 2007 robbery of
a movie complex.

- The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force
(GCRFTF), working in conjunction with investigators from the
U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) in
Pensacola, FL arrested a Florida man sought on multiple felony
counts of possessing Child Pornography while living in the
Pensacola area. Martin Lyle Christianson, aka ‘Robert Allen’ of
Cantonment, FL is wanted by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office
for possessing images of child pornography, including images of
child molestation.

May 21, 2010 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force
working in conjunction with investigators from the Florida Attorney
General’s CyberCrime Unit in Milton, FL are asking public for help in
locating a Cantonment, FL man who is wanted as suspect for possessing images
of child pornography, including images of child molestation. The Escambia
County Sheriff’s Office has issued the warrant which charges Martin Lyle
Christianson, aka ‘Robert Allen’, 58, with 20 felony counts of Possession of
Child Pornography.
- April 23, 2010 -
The U.S.
Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended a Walton
County man who has eluded law enforcement since 2006 after he allegedly
molested a young girl. Jimmy Donald Suttles Jr., was arrested this
morning around 8:30 a.m. (EST). Suttles was found living in an
apartment above a garage of a house in the affluent community of Smyrna,
GA., a suburb of Atlanta. According to the Marshals Task Force in
Atlanta, Suttles was living on this property for some time using the garage as his shop to repair and restore
cars.

April 20, 2010
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in
Panama City arrested an escapee today from the Indiana State
Prison, in Michigan City who’s been on the lam since last
Friday. Jason Garmon, 30, was serving a 7 year and 10 year prison
sentence for Attempted Robbery and Robbery. Garmon was assigned to a work
detail when he escaped from the prison April 16.

- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force arrested a man at the Gulf Breeze Zoo this afternoon who
is wanted by law enforcement in Huntsville, AL. Jonathan Derek
Ramey is being sought by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional
Fugitive Task Force and the Sheriff’s Offices in Marshall and
Etowah Counties, AL as the main suspect in burglaries
which an assortment of guns were stolen.

- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force
announces the arrest of a federal fugitive from the Pensacola
area on the run for over 7 years in the city of Cap Haitian
early this morning. U.S. Marshals, the Drug Enforcement
Administration
and Haitian Authorities caught up with Guerly Alexis at a small
restaurant he was running about 100 miles north of the
capital city Port-Au –Prince about 8 a.m. (CST).

Richard Ray, a suspect wanted in connection of string of armed
robberies in Pensacola, FL was arrested by the U.S. Marshals
Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force in Mobile, AL. Several warrants
issued by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office charge Ray with
Robbery with a Firearm and Aggravated Assault. Earlier the
same day, Terrence Letrell Woods, 29, was captured by the U.S.
Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in a suburb of
Atlanta, GA. Woods is wanted by the ECSO for Failure To Appear
on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon,
Discharging a Firearm in Public, and Possession of a Firearm by
a Felon and Felony Criminal Mischief.

March 23, 2010 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team
arrested a fugitive this morning wanted as the suspect in an
attempted murder of a Pensacola man at a motel in Pensacola last
year. Michael Joe Green, 35, has been on the run from
authorities after he allegedly shot 29 year old Jeffrey Watson
in the head at the Red Roof Inn on Plantation Road on May 10,
2009.

The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force today announced the arrest of Frank Gillard, 55, of
Tallahassee, FL on an outstanding Tallahassee Police Department
(TPD) charge of Sexual Battery on a Mentally Defective Victim.

March 12, 2010 -
The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force today announced the addition of the Liberty County
Sheriff’s Office as the newest member of the Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force. Liberty County Deputy Sheriff William Todd
Wheetley was sworn in this morning as a Special Deputy U.S.
Marshal and appointed as the first representative from the
Liberty County Sheriff’s Office to join task force operations.

The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force arrested a man who is wanted for sexually battering an
Okaloosa woman and held her in an apartment against her will
last month. The alleged suspect, Alvaro Ignacio Abaunza, 40, of
Crestview was arrested by Task Force members.

The U.S.
Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a man today who
is wanted on multiple assault and battery charges where he allegedly
tried to strangle the victim several times while continuously beating
her. 26 year-old Foster Jermall Gibbs - wanted by Escambia Sheriff’s
Office - was arrested without incident in Pensacola.

The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force arrested a man early this morning wanted by both the
Pensacola Police Department and Escambia Sheriff’s Office who
has been eluding the police since November of last year. Antarus
Manche Jackson, 32, was arrested during a felony car stop in
Pensacola, FL. Jackson is charged with Felon in Possession of a
Gun, Crack Cocaine Trafficking and Possession of Counterfeit
Bills.

February 14, 2010
- The U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force
nabbed a Santa Rosa County man who is believed to be the suspect
wanted in connection with a 2009 Home Invasion in Navarre, FL.
The Marshals Task Force caught up with Frank Joseph DeSalvo
Friday and arrested him without incident at a trailer he was
living in about 70 miles outside of Atlanta.

January 26, 2010
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force arrested a man who is believed to be the
suspect wanted in connection with the rape of a Pensacola woman
on New Year’s Day, at a Wal-Mart Parking lot in Pensacola.
Willard Ray Crowder, 47, was arrested at a security storage
facility today by the Task Force without incident.

- Regis Reymon Madison, the last
known suspect wanted in connection for the murder of a Pace man
less than a week ago was apprehended today by the U.S. Marshals
Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana Fugitive Task Force in
Lafayette, LA.

- A man who was wanted by the
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a shooting which
resulted in the death of a Pensacola man was captured by the
U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force. The suspect, Marvin Jamel Smith, was arrested without incident by Task Force Investigators with
help from Pensacola Police task force members, Escambia Patrol Units and
investigators from the A.T.F.

- The U.S. Marshals
Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force had a busy morning in
Perry, Florida during a street level roundup of several locally
wanted fugitives. All told, Task Force members arrested 10
individuals wanted on a wide array of charges from Lewd and
Lascivious Sexual Battery of a Child to Violation of Probation
on Narcotic Convictions.

November 12, 2009
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force caught up with two Louisiana men who escaped
from a jail in New Orleans late in October. On October 23 at
about 1 a.m., Bryan Dunbar, 35, and Alex Lee, 30 had escaped
from a temporary jail facility from Orleans Parish after
climbing a fence and escaping on foot.

- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force apprehended a violent fugitive after they
had to use a taser in order to subdue him. Emanuel Pride who is
wanted by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office for Resisting
Arrest, Failure to Appear, Drug Possession and charges revoking
his bond was found hiding behind a clothes dresser by Task Force
Officers in an apartment in Shalimar.

October 30, 2009
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force apprehended an Alabama man who is wanted for
two murders and an attempted murder that took place over a
decade ago in Alabama. A warrant that was issued earlier this
month in Coosa County, Al states that Charles Richard Tooley had
badly beaten several people and then left them in a building
that he set on fire.

The U.S. Marshals
Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force located a missing “endangered”
juvenile in
Thomasville, GA. The Marshals task force was contacted by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office located in Eastman, GA
for assistance after developing information indicating the juveniles
were possibly in the area. According to Lt. Donald Helm, two juveniles,
16 year old Jamila Roberson and 17 year old Hermina Brown, disappeared
from the campus of Dodge County High School on Tuesday, October
13.

Charles Andrew Williams, wanted on a federal warrant by the U.S.
Marshals Eastern Iowa Fugitive Task Force for Possession of Child
Pornography, was arrested yesterday by the U.S. Marshals in Pensacola. The U.S. Marshals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa requested the assistance
of the Pensacola Division of the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force to
locate and arrest Williams. Task Force members with the Eastern Iowa
Fugitive Task Force received information that Williams was living in
Pace, Florida. The Pensacola Task Force apprehended Williams without incident.

September 17,
2009 - Teddie Lee Carroll, 44 is an absconded sex offender
with three outstanding warrants who was wanted by the U.S. Marshals
Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) in Orlando. The Pensacola
Division of the FRFTF arrested Carroll this evening in Pensacola.
Carroll was being sought by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office for
Violating Probation by Failing to Register as a Sex Offender.

2009 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force today announced the arrest of 18 year old Adrian Leebrent Hunter
from Jupiter, Florida for the offenses of 3rd Degree Murder with a Firearm,
Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, and Manslaughter with a Firearm.

August 31, 2009
- The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office
Gang Unit worked together to capture a local rap artist who is
wanted in connection with an armed home invasion. The Task Force
and the Gang Unit caught up with suspect Antonio Dean aka “Lue
Kane” late this afternoon in the city limits of Pensacola, after
just missing him early Friday morning in the Lincoln Park
section of Escambia County.

After an exhaustive
three day manhunt, members of the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive
Task Force and investigators from the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office have
arrested 21 year old Stephen Michael Krimmel of Crawfordville, FL for the
offenses of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Use of a Firearm During
the Commission of a Felony, and Narcotics Possession.

Ray Hurley who is wanted for the murder of Timothy Thames of
Blue Angel Lane.

run, U.S. Marshal’s Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force members
arrested twenty five year old Rufus L. Lee of Perry, Florida for the
offenses of 1st Degree Murder, Attempted Murder, and Armed Robbery.

The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional
Fugitive Task Force arrested three wanted felons within 12 hours
of each other, all being sought on shooting charges including
one from Seattle, Washington.

May 20, 2009
- The U.S. Marshal’s Florida
Regional Fugitive Task Force, along with patrol and K-9 units
from the Tallahassee Police Department, responded to an urgent
Crime Stoppers tip early this morning which resulted in the
arrest of one of Tallahassee’s most wanted men. Ion Cloud,
nineteen years of age, had been the target of a multi-agency
manhunt since the Leon County Sheriff’s Office identified Cloud
as a subject of interest in the Circle K / McDonalds shooting
that occurred on March 29, 2009.

May 14, 2009
- Members of the U.S. Marshals
Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force had an early morning start
after traveling from Tallahassee, FL to Eastpoint, FL in search
of Anthony Joseph Erario. Erario was wanted by the St. Lucie
County Sheriff’s Office in Florida for the offense of Capital
Sexual Battery on a Child under the Age of 12. Task Force
members located the 63 year old Erario at a residence in
Franklin County where he was arrested by task force members
without incident.

2009 - While executing a
search warrant investigators and Deputy U.S. Marshals recovered a
fully-loaded automatic rifle, numerous rounds of ammunition and other
loaded hand guns from the hotel room of the murder suspect they
apprehended yesterday after having to shoot him, according to the
Marshals Office in Florida's Middle District.

- Thomas Ford McCoy wanted in
connection for the murder of a DeFuniak Springs man less than
two weeks ago was apprehended earlier today by the U.S. Marshals
Regional Fugitive Task Force when he was shot by a Deputy after
McCoy pulled a gun on task force officers.
