  • July 20, 2009 - Jason Schalebaum, 26, was arrested in Deland, FL by members of the U.S. Marshals led Regional Fugitive Task Force. Schalebaum was arrested on a warrant issued by the New Durham, NH Police Department. The New Durham Police Department obtained the arrest warrant for the following charges: three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of second-degree assault, two counts of simple assault and one count of reckless conduct, by placing another in danger.
  • May 14, 2009 - The U.S. Marshals Service is pleased to announce that fugitive John Baldasaro was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in New York City. Baldasaro was located in Manhattan, NY and arrested on numerous outstanding warrants from throughout New England. The investigation by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force started after being contacted by the Chesterfield (NH) Police Department. The Chesterfield Police Department stated that someone had impersonated a U.S. Marshal to kidnap and rob multiple victims. This suspect was later identified as John Baldasaro. 
  • March 10, 2009 - Michael McBride was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals - Sex Offender Investigations Branch, and Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. This arrest was the culmination of a coordinated effort by the U.S. Marshals – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force, the New Hampshire State Police, U.S. Marshals from the District of Vermont, Middle District of Florida, the Sex Offender Investigations Branch, as well as the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. 
  • February 06, 2009 - John Chaisson and Sally Bernier were arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals – NH Joint Fugitive Task Force including members from the Hillsborough & Strafford County (NH) Sheriff’s Offices, with the assistance of the Nashua, NH Police Department. Chaisson was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Worcester, MA; including Armed Robbery, and Assault. Bernier was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants for being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, as well as Narcotic Distribution and Possession.
  • January 24, 2009 - Richard Malave, 28, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals – NH Joint Fugitive Task Force including the Hillsborough County (NH) Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Cambridge, MA Police Department, and MA Probation Officers. Malave was arrested on two outstanding NH warrants, including First Degree Assault, Robbery, and a variety of other arrest warrants issued in Massachusetts.
  • July 17, 2007 - A Massachusetts man has been arrested on federal charges out of the District of New Hampshire, accused of failing to register as a sex-offender as required by law. John Collins, 38, is the first person in New Hampshire to be charged under the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006.
  • November 09, 2006 - United States Marshal Stephen Monier, District of New Hampshire, Merrimack County Sheriff Chester Jordan, and Manchester Police Chief John Jaskolka today announced the capture of convicted sex offender Michael Defosses, age 41.
  • October 26, 2006 - United States Marshal Stephen Monier, District of New Hampshire, and Chief Kevin Morrow of the Meredith Police Department, today announced the capture of fugitive Brian Berlo.  Berlo was wanted on felony indictments issued for one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault, one count of felonious sexual assault, two counts of child endangerment, and two counts for possession of controlled drugs.
