Task Force Name:	Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force
Purpose:	The primary mission of the task force is to seek out and arrest, in a coordinated manner, persons who have outstanding state and/or federal warrants for their arrest. The intent of this joint effort will be to increase public safety through the location and apprehension of state and federal fugitives.
Participants:	U.S. Marshals Service, Knox County Sheriff's Department, Knoxville Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), 9th District Attorney General’s Office, 14th District Drug Task Force, Blount County Sheriff's Office, Cocke County Sheriff's Office, Hamblen County Sheriff's Office, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Union County Sheriff's Office, Washington County Sheriff's Office, Bristol Police Department and the Chattanooga Police Department.
