October 16, 2014 - 15 Most Wanted Capture - After landing on the U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted list 10 years ago, infamous motorcycle gang member and fugitive Randy Mark Yager is finally behind bars. Yager, who was indicted by a Wisconsin federal jury in June 1997 under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act for a number of violations to include murder, arson, possession of explosives, possession, trafficking in counterfeit U.S. currency, robbery, burglary, trafficking in stolen vehicles, and narcotics, was apprehended in Baja California, Mexico.

June 03, 2014 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of fugitive Lavonte Conn, who was wanted in Selma, AL for two counts of Attempted Murder and Armed Robbery.

October 26, 2012 - Kevin Carr, the U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of Everett Bergemann on October 25, 2012. Bergemann had been wanted by the Sheboygan Police Department, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department on numerous felony charges, including Stalking, Probation Violation, Escape and Failure to Surrender.

February 24, 2012 - The U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Kevin A. Carr, announced the conclusion of Operation Spring Thaw. The operation began on February 1, 2012 and ended today. During the operation, members of the Fugitive Task Force (Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and US Marshals) arrested 38 individuals on outstanding felony warrants.

January 10, 2012 - Kevin A. Carr, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of fugitive Marcus Taylor. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Louisville Metro Police Department took Taylor into custody late last night after a brief struggle at a Wal-Mart Store. Taylor was wanted by the Racine Police Department for Repeated Sexual Assault of a Minor, and by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for Parole Violation.

December 22, 2011 - Kevin A. Carr, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin announced the arrest of Francisco Martinez in Green Bay, WI. Martinez was convicted in Douglas County Nebraska of First degree Sexual Assault, Use of a weapon to commit a felony, Terroristic threats and witness tampering in 1997. While awaiting sentencing Martinez fled and has been a fugitive for over 14 years.

October 14, 2011 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin announced the arrest of Michael F. Rhoades today.  On October 6, 2011 the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service in locating and apprehending Rhoades. Rhoades is alleged to have sexually assaulted a disabled female and is a suspect in another sexual assault that occurred on a running trail in the Fond du Lac area. 

September 28, 2011 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of Thomas Friedel.  Friedel, a fugitive wanted in Waukesha County, was arrested by authorities in Barranquilla, Colombia. The US Marshals worked closely with Colombian investigators over the past several weeks. After his arrest, Friedel was subsequently expelled from Colombia, and arrested by Deputy US Marshals once he arrived at the Miami International Airport in Florida this afternoon.

April 8, 2011 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and Brad Gehring, Outagamie County Sheriff, announced the completion of a multi-jurisdictional operation that targeted non-compliant sex offenders.  "Operation Out in the Cold’ started in late January of this year when deputy U.S. marshals, Outagamie County detectives and Wisconsin sex offender registry specialists conducted a 100 percent compliance check of all registered sex offenders residing in Outagamie County. These compliance checks were conducted with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry to ensure that offenders were actually residing where they were registered.  The operation culminated over the last several days with the arrests of seven registrants who were not residing where they were supposed to be, or had outstanding warrants charging them with Failure to Register.

March 3, 2011 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of fugitive Donald Franklin Jr.. Investigations in the Southern District of Indiana and in the Northern District of Georgia placed Franklin at his grandmother’s residence in Milwaukee. Surveillance by the Fugitive Task Force confirmed Franklin’s presence today at the residence. As a result, investigators made entry and took him into custody. Franklin was wanted out of Fulton County, Gerogia on 16 counts of 1st Degree Attempted Homicide, 1st Degree Cruelty to Children, Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Battery. The charges stem from an incident in which Franklin allegedly beat a young child. The victim of the alleged offense is Franklin’s 3 year old daughter, who is still in a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Franklin is currently housed in the Milwaukee County jail awaiting extradition to Georgia.

February 24, 2011 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of Roland Flath.  Flath, a retired US National living abroad, was arrested by authorities in Gulan, Guatemala. The US Marshals, the US Department of State, and the Department of Homeland Security worked closely with Belizean and Guatemalan Immigration agents over the past several months.  Flath was expelled by Guatemalan Immigration Officials, and arrested by Deputy US Marshals once he arrived in Houston, Texas.

December 22, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of Jacob McCann today in Houston, Texas. Jacob McCann was wanted by the Oshkosh Police Department for Sexual Assault of a Child, and by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for Violation of Probation.

December 09, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of Gary Amaya.  Amaya was arrested today by authorities in El Salvador. The US Marshals, the US Department of State, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) worked closely over the past several weeks once the investigation focused on the country of El Salvador, where some of Amaya’s relatives reside. Amaya was deported by El Salvadoran Immigration Officials, and escorted to the United States by Deputy US Marshals.  

December 01, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the extradition of Kulwant Hans from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Hans had been charged in Milwaukee County with Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety While Armed in May of 2008.  It is alleged that Hans followed a young woman from his corner store at 2235 W. Center Street in Milwaukee, believing that she had stolen merchandise. As Hans confronted the woman, he allegedly shot her in the leg. On May 5, 2008 Hans posted a $10,000 bail and subsequently failed to appear at the October 2008 trial.

November 18, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, joined by Sheriff David Clarke of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department, John Chisholm of the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office and United States Attorney James Santelle, announced the culmination of a three day operation designed to locate and arrest sex offenders known to be out of compliance with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry (SOR) and federal Adam Walsh Act requirements, The operation was conducted in the Milwaukee metropolitan area.

November 16, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and Nancy McNamara, Special Agent in Charge for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Milwaukee Division, announced the arrest of Arthur Lopez Jr.. The only alleged member of a notorious family drug ring in Milwaukee that had evaded arrest for eleven years was taken into custody last night by the Mexican Agencia Federal de Investigacion (AFI) in Monterrey, Mexico. As AFI investigators were closing in on Lopez, he surrendered to the U.S. Consulate.

November 15, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of Stewart Creekmore. Creekmore, had escaped from the Montgomery County Jail in Mount Sterling, Kentucky on October 8, 2010. He had been awaiting trial on a charge of Homicide, and had been in custody since August 13, 2010.

November 03, 2010 -  Kevin A. Carr, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of Robert Kinjerski today in Greenfield.. Kinjerski was featured on ‘Wisconsin’s Most Wanted’ on WITI – Channel 6 in Milwaukee on Oct. 30.

November 01, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Police Chief Edward A. Flynn, and Milwaukee District Attorney John T. Chisholm, announced the arrest of Thomas Thornhill Jr.. Thornhill had been charged in Milwaukee County with the sexual assault of a 9 year old child that occurred in 2010.

October 26, 2010 -  Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrests of brothers Jesus Ramirez and Angel Escajeda.  Jesus Ramirez was wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for violations of his parole, after having been convicted of Abduction. 

October 26, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrest of Trenell Scott. Trenell Scott was wanted by the Milwaukee Police Department for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Battery, and Intimidation of a Victim.

October 13, 2010 - Kevin A. Carr, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the arrests of Johnny Maldonado and Raymond Nieves. Maldonado and Nieves were arrested on October 4th, 2010 in Salem, Wisconsin by members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force - Eastern Wisconsin (MFTF). Nieves and Maldonado were both wanted in connection with two separate homicides that took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Waukegan, Illinois.
