U.S. Marshals, Lexington County Arrest Kansas Murder Suspect |
|
Columbia, SC – Michael
Angelo Young was arrested without incident at a relative’s home on
Wednesday, April 8. Young, 29, was the subject of Wyandotte County, KS
warrants for First Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery. The warrants
stem from a shooting incident that occurred in October 2008. He was
booked into the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting extradition
proceedings. The Marshals’ fugitive task force, Operation Intercept,
received information on Tuesday that Young was possibly staying at a
residence on Emerald Shores Circle in Chapin. Lexington County
investigators and Deputy Marshals initiated an investigation and were
able to locate him at the residence the following night. SLED agents and
Richland County Sheriff’s deputies also aided in the apprehension. |
