April FOIA Requester Roundtable

This month we will be continuing our series of FOIA Requester Roundtable meetings to host discussions between the FOIA requester community and agency FOIA professionals. Our next meeting, hosted in conjunction with the Office of Government Information Services, will focus on the topic of record searches, and the challenges faced by government personnel in conducting searches and the opportunities to tailor searches to individual requester needs. We hope you can join us for this discussion, which is open to agency personnel and members of the public.  The details for this meeting are
FOIA Requester Roundtable Meeting Searches for Records: Challenges and Opportunities Department of Justice Office of Information Policy 1425 New York Avenue, NW - Suite 11050 April 25, 2012, 10:00 am - noon
These discussions provide a forum for the FOIA requester community to participate in the exchange of ideas, with the goal of increasing the understanding of the issues that all parties are faced with when working with the FOIA. If you are interested in attending, please e-mail your name and phone number to OIP's Training Officer, Bertina Adams, at DOJ.OIP.FOIA@usdoj.gov.  As space for this meeting is limited, registration is required to attend, and remember that you will need a picture ID to enter the building for this meeting.  If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact Ms. Adams at (202) 514-1010.
