257 requests for expedited

processing received; 134 requests for expedited processing granted.

component efforts to improve timeliness of FOIA performance and to make records

available to the public (e.g., backlog-reduction efforts; specification of average

Drug Enforcement Admininstration

(DEA)

DEA is currently in the process

of implementing an electronic redaction program.

Office of the Federal Detention

Trustee (OFDT)

OFDT is continuing its efforts

to make available on its Web site different categories of records.

United States Parole Commission (USPC)

The following efforts were made

to improve timeliness:

(1) Working with requesters

to narrow the scope of requests in order to avoid fees;

(2) Providing additional in-house training.
